GaiaSuite Aims to Make Back-Office Processes More Agile
GaiaSuite, a SaaS back-office solution dedicated to e-commerce businesses, was developed based on the experience of Monnier Paris, its sister company. With GaiaSuite, Diaa Elyaacoubi embarks on a new entrepreneurial adventure while staying true to the fashion tech world.
The leader, who acquired the luxury accessories e-commerce platform Monnier Paris, has carried out a spin-off operation to market a comprehensive back-office solution for e-retail.
Agility as a Leitmotif
Developed for Monnier Paris, which has effectively become its first client, the AI-powered suite includes a set of modules for brands to connect to major fashion and luxury marketplaces, manage all their business operations, inventory, digitize their product catalog, synchronize their stocks in real-time, pricing strategies, etc., through a single interface. “We live in a world where everything is constantly disrupted. Being agile is the only certainty. For leaders, it’s about adapting very quickly and having tools capable of interacting with different platforms, social networks, media, sales sites, and gaming. You need to be present in all communities and audience crossroads and move away from traditional consumption logic. Soon, all consumers will be Generation Z, and everything will happen in the digital realm, even if the in-store experience remains strong,” says Diaa Elyaacoubi.
Reaching the Customer Where They Are
The Monnier Paris site, which sells 180 brands, has proven to be “the ideal tool for building the platform and remains a great laboratory.” Built on agnostic technology, with a focus on governance and data management, available in SaaS mode with AWS hosting, the solution interfaces with CMS like Shopify. It is dedicated to luxury and lifestyle brands “often poorly equipped” and seeks to simplify the back-office for companies that have siloed views of their operations. The “e-distribution platform that seeks the customer where they are” has already won over about ten brands, five of which have already deployed it. “Some use it as a backup while waiting for their current contracts to end,” adds Diaa Elyaacoubi.
